Our Staff

Our staff has over 100 years of combined experience in the manufacturing and repair of surgical instruments. All of our journeymen instrument makers have completed a 10,000 hour hands-on apprenticeship program established by the United States Department of Labor to achieve Journeyman Certification. Few companies can make this claim.


Fischer instruments are unconditionally guaranteed for life against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship when used for their intended surgical purpose and cared for in accordance with recommended procedures. In the event that one of our instruments should fail as a result of a manufacturing defect in material or workmanship, it will be replaced or repaired at no charge.

Instruments that are in stock will ship within 8 hours via USPS Priority Mail unless requested otherwise. Method of shipment is subject to change without notice.

Terms of Payment

Invoices are net 30 days. After 30 days, a 1.5% finance charge will be added to the total invoice.

Return Policy

All products returned to Fischer must be accompanied by a Return Authorization number/form. This number/form can be obtained by calling our office at 314-303-7753 prior to shipment. Merchandise should be carefully packaged, shipped, prepaid, insured and sent to our office. Each shipment must be accompanied by a document showing the full name and address of sender, list of items, a copy of the invoice, and the reason for return.

Merchandise returned for credit will be accepted under the following conditions:

a. Fischer determines that the product is not damaged and is in salable condition in its original package.
b. Full credit will be issued for all merchandise returned within 30 days after the date of shipment.
c. Returns received 31-60 days after shipment are subject to a 10% restocking charge.
d. Returns after 60 days will not be accepted.

The following items CANNOT be accepted for credit except those resulting from an error made by Fischer.

a. Custom made instruments.
b. Discontinued models.
c. Damaged, abused, or custom etched instruments.
