Return and Refund Policy
At Fischer Surgical Inc., we stand behind the quality of our instrumentation. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please review our guidelines below to ensure a smooth return or repair process.
1. Return Authorization Requirements
All returns must be pre-authorized. No merchandise will be accepted for credit without a Return Authorization (RA) Form.
- To Obtain an RA Form: Please contact our office at 314-303-7753 prior to shipping any product.
- Required Documentation: Every return shipment must include:
- A completed RA Form.
- The sender’s full name, address, and contact information.
- A comprehensive list of items being returned.
- A copy of the original invoice.
- A detailed reason for the return.
2. Shipping Guidelines
- Packaging: Merchandise must be carefully packaged to prevent damage during transit.
- Costs: All return shipments must be prepaid and insured by the sender. FSI is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.
3. Eligibility for Credit
Credit will be issued based on the following conditions and timelines from the original date of shipment:

0–30 Days 100% Full Credit Must be in original packaging and salable condition
31–45 Days 90% Credit Subject to a 10% restocking charge.
Over 45 Days No Credit Returns are not accepted after 45 days
Note: FSI reserves the right to determine if a product is in "salable condition." Items that are damaged, used, or not in original packaging will not be accepted for credit.
4. Non-Returnable Items The following items are final sale and cannot be accepted for credit:
- Customization: Custom-made or custom-etched instruments.
- Availability: Discontinued models.
- Quality & Safety:
o Non-sterile instruments that have been processed or sterilized.
o Sterile products with opened or damaged packaging.
o Items removed from their original sales packaging.
o Instruments that show signs of damage or abuse.
